OTE, the Oregon Heritage Tree Program and its committee members were sorrowed to hear of our friend Maynard Drawson’s  passage from this world to the next.

The Oregon Travel Information Council will hold a special telephonic meeting in OTE’s Salem office on Friday December 7, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. The Council will approve minutes from a special November meeting and discuss (or possibly approve) janitorial and rest area contracts for OTE’s supervised I-84 rest areas. Heritage trees to be inducted on Friday October 5, 2012

Oregon Travel Experience (OTE) and the Oregon Heritage Tree Program announce a special dedication of the Shipley-Cook Heritage Grove in Lake Oswego. The ceremony will take place on Friday, October 5, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. in Stevens Meadows on Shipley Drive. Celebrating the lastest historical marker installation

Oregon Travel Experience, the City of Lafayette, and the Oregon Historical Program recently dedicated a new historical marker commemorating Lafayette suffragette Abigail Scott Duniway.
The new interpretive marker is located at Joel Perkins Park on 8th and Jefferson Streets in Lafayette.
