1) Rest Area Program Administrator

SALARY: $8,535 – $10517.84 per month. NOTE: If the successful candidate is PERS qualifying, salary ranges will reflect an additional 6.95%.

JOB TYPE: Full-time; Permanent. Exempt, not eligible for overtime.

LOCATION: Salem, Oregon (in office), occasional remote work may be possible.

LOCATION: Midland (Milepost 282.3) and Beaver Marsh Rest Areas (US 97, Milepost 206.5).

LOCATION: Weatherby Rest Area (milepost 335.9) and paired with the Ontario Rest Area (milepost 377.4).

JOB TYPE: Full-time (40 hours per week including weekends; days off are Monday-Tuesday), Permanent.

LOCATION: Tillamook (near Highway 101 milepost 71) and paired with the Sunset Rest Area (US 26 MP 28.8).

5) Rest Area Specialist

Beaver Marsh and Midland Rest Areas

SALARY: $19.74 -$26.66 per hour NOTE: If the successful candidate is PERS qualifying, salary ranges will reflect an additional 6.95%.

JOB TYPE: Full-time (40 hours per week including weekends; days off are Thursday and Friday), Permanent

LOCATION: Beaver Marsh Rest Area (US 97, Milepost 206.5) is the primary location for this position.

The successful candidate must reside within a maximum 60-minute travel distance (of the primary location/BeaverMarsh) for response to emergency situations at the rest area when on call. If the candidate is relocating to meet the travel distance requirement, relocation must occur within 90 days of first day of work. The secondary location is the Midland Rest Area (Milepost 282.3).

6) Rest Area Technician

CLOSING DATE/TIME: Open until filled; may close at any time

SALARY: $18.00 per hour

MULTIPLE LOCATIONS – Beaver Marsh Rest Area, Memaloose Rest Area, Tillamook/ Sunset Rest Area

Rest Area Technicians are fill-in employees who are not scheduled to work regular hours, but are available to perform fill-in work as needed; rest areas are staffed every day of the year, and fill-in employees are frequently scheduled to work weekends and holidays. While technicians are hired for a specific rest area location, TIC management may request that they work at other rest areas depending on business needs and the technician’s availability.
