1) Rest Area Supervisor

Ontario & Weatherby Rest Areas

OPENING DATE: 08/01/2022

SALARY: $4,696.44- $6,223.53 per month. NOTE: If successful candidate is PERS qualifying, salary ranges will reflect additional 6.95% through payroll deduction each month.

JOB TYPE: Full-time, Permanent. Exempt, not eligible for overtime.

LOCATION: Ontario Rest Area (I-84 Milepost 377.4) and Weatherby Rest Area (I-84 at Milepost 335.9)

2) Rest Area Specialist

Manzanita & Suncrest Rest Areas

OPENING DATE: 08/01/2022

CLOSING DATE: Open until filled; may close at anytime

SALARY: $19.74 -$26.66 per hour NOTE: If successful candidate is PERS qualifying, salary ranges will reflect additional 6.95% through payroll deduction each month.

JOB TYPE: Full-time (40 hours per week including weekends; days off are Thursday-Friday), Permanent.

LOCATION: Manzanita Rest Area (I-5 Milepost 62.8) is the primary location. Secondary location: Suncrest Rest Area (I-5 at Milepost 22)

Tillamook/Sunset Rest Areas

SALARY: $19.74 -$25.86 per hour NOTE: If successful candidate is PERS qualifying, salary ranges will reflect additional 6.95%.

JOB TYPE: Full-time (40 hours per week including weekends; days off are Monday-Tuesday), Permanent.

LOCATION: Tillamook (near Highway 101 milepost 71) and paired with the Sunset Rest Area (US 26 MP 28.8).

4) Rest Area Technician

SALARY: $18.00 per hour

TIC is Hiring Rest Area Technicians at locations statewide: Near Hood River (Memaloose), Albany (Santiam), Wilsonville (French Praire), Corvallis (Ellmaker), Eugene (Oak Grove & Cabin Creek), Grants Pass (Manzanita), Madras (Cow Canyon), Terrebonne (Peter Skene Ogden), Pendelton (Deadman Pass), Baker City ( Baker Valley), Seaside (Sunset).

Rest Area Technicians are fill-in employees who are not scheduled to work regular hours, but are available to perform fill-in work as needed; rest areas are staffed every day of the year, and fill-in employees are frequently scheduled to work weekends and holidays. While technicians are hired for a specific rest area location, TIC management may request that they work at other rest areas depending on business needs and the technician’s availability.
