Heritage Tree Featured on Podcast

The Monterey Cypress, Oregon’s 26th Heritage Tree, is not only the largest specimen of its species in Oregon, but was also planted by Curry County’s first representative to the Oregon State House.

Dirty Freehub, a gravel cycling nonprofit that works to educate people around the places they ride, recently created a cycling route through Brookings, Oregon. Their team reached out the Oregon Heritage Tree Committee to learn more about the tree.
